Troop 1631 activities Apr.25-May 1

Your Randalls Remakable Card is a great way to support the troop, and at no cost to you! Just ask for a Remarkable Application Form at the Courtesy Booth and fill in the top portion and the "Good Neighbor Program" section using account number 931. A percentage of all your grocery purchases will automatically be donated to the troop every time you use the card. See http://www.randalls.com/community_caringneighbor.asp for more details.

PLEASE NOTE: Fees for weekend campouts are usually $20.00 per scout, and $5.00 for each adult scouter. If you sign up to attend a campout and either do not attend or cancel after the food has been purchased, you will still have to pay the full amount. It's not fair to the other Scouts and adults if they have to share the cost for extra food that's not needed. It also often causes a severe hardship when last minute cancellations result in transportation problems. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE!!!

Reminder to parents: New Leader Essentials and Youth Protection Training are short introductions to how the Scouting program works. Safe Swim Defense and Safety Afloat training are required at most summer activities that involve water sports. These are all very short courses (90 minutes each), and the troop really needs more trained adults, so please consider attending if you do not have this training. Dates and times are at the end of this newsletter.
