Troop 1631 scouts & parents,
The July 10th and 17th meetings will be at the Wedelich house, 3019 Pecan Ridge.
We will be working with the patrol and troop camping equipment - cleaning patrol
boxes, fixing tents, labeling gear, etc. Please bring any troop equipment you have
(tents, ice boxes, etc) to these meetings.
From Colony Bend Elementary, head east on Planters (toward Settlers Park).
Turn right on Pecan Ridge and the house is on your left.
The July outdoor activity is a trip to Splashtown on Friday, July 28th. Cost for
Scouts is $30 and this includes lunch. We need to purchase tickets early next
week, so you MUST bring money to the July 10th meeting. We also need a few
adults to help us drive. We will meet at CBE at 9 am, and return around 7 pm.
Justin Lam is the scout in charge - you can also let Justin or Hank Wedelich
know if you plan on coming.
Troop elections will be at the July 17th meeting. Sign-up for leadership positions
will be available at the next two meetings. Scouts interested in leadership should
make sure that they can attend the JLT training and 6 month planning the weekend
of Aug 4-5.
The July 24th meeting will be held at Colony Grant Lake. We will be doing canoe
work at that meeting.
